BOAZ FANCIES A TIGER SHOOT
HULL v BIRMINGHAM Tonight – Kick-off 7.45pm
BOAZ MYHILL is a man on a mission to tame the Tigers by completing a successful raid on his old club.
Birmingham goalkeeper Myhill (left) will make his first return to the KC Stadium hoping to help kick-start boss Chris Hughton’s promotion challenge.
Myhill spent over six years with Hull and played a major role in helping the club rise up the divisions to the Premier League.
But Hughton’s troops are desperate to pick up only their second win in seven Championship games to make it a memorable return for the 29-year-old.
Myhill said: “There will be no room for sentiment there. I am paid to win games of football and that’s what I will be trying to do.
“If you are three or four games behind the majority of teams, I don’t care who you are, you are not going to be in the top spots.
“It’s up to us when these games come around to take full advantage of them.
“The really good run we went on will become an even better run if we can get some points out of these games in hand.
“It’s important for us to make them count and make up some ground on the teams above.
“It’s easy to get carried away by a defeat after we lost at Cardiff on Sunday.
“But we have got another good chance to get some points at Hull and hopefully we can take it.”
