Donna faces fraud trial

TV pre­sen­ter Donna Air will stand trial for fraud af­ter plead­ing not guilty to us­ing an il­le­gal park­ing per­mit.

The 32-year-old, who found fame on kids show

in the 1990s, de­nied ap­ply­ing for a per­mit from the bor­ough of Kens­ing­ton and Chelsea when she al­ready had one for West­min­ster.

She faces a max­i­mum fine of £2,500 if found guilty.

Ms Air ap­peared at Isle­worth Crown Court where she de­nied a sin­gle count of fraud on Jan 21.

Judge Paul Dug­dale fixed a trial date for March 28 next year and re­leased her on un­con­di­tional bail.
