Man flashes his golf balls to female jogger
A GOLF ball collector who flashed at a woman while she was out running told a court that he didn’t mean to cause her any distress.
Magistrates in Carlisle heard how Kevin Stuart Purdham, 50, exposed himself to the passing jogger while a golf competition for under 18s was taking place at the city’s Stoneyholme Golf Course.
Purdham, from Currock, Cumbria, initially denied intentionally exposing his genitals intending to cause alarm or distress but changed his plea before a trial was due to start.
Magistrates adjourned sentencing until January 9 for probation reports.
