Arrest after double pond death probe
A 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the bodies of a teenager and a man were discovered in a pond in Canterbury.
The first body was found in Reed Pond at midday on Monday.
The second was recovered by police divers later that night, according to Kent Police.
One of the bodies is believed to be that of missing schoolboy Hugo Wenn, 17.
The other is of a man in his 20s.
Police search and forensic teams remain at the scene and officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate Major Crime team have set up an incident room.
The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained pending post mortems – which are due to take place in the next 24 hours.
A man from Canterbury has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
