BRUYNE AND OUT
KEVIN DE BRUYNE completed his £8million move to Chelsea – but admits he could wait 18 months to make his debut.
The Belgian winger switched to Stamford Bridge from Genk yesterday. But he’ll be sent back to his former club to see out the rest of the season on loan.
And the 20-year-old expects to be shipped out on yet another temporary deal as he eases his way into English football.
De Bruyne said: “I signed and now I’ll go back for six months. Next season it would be normal to be loaned, but I will start the preparations here at Cobham.”
He added: “I am patient. It will be very hard to play in the beginning, but if you can train with these guys you will get to a better level than in the Belgian league for sure.
“I’m a creative player with two good feet I think, especially the right one. At Genk I create chances for the team.”
