JAMES BANNED! New documents reveal X-rated 007 scenes axed by censors
CENSORS have lifted the lid on controversial 007 scenes they said ‘Dr No Way’ to!
British secret agent Bond has gone toe-to-toe with countless baddies during a fifty year career that has covered a whopping 23 films.
But the superspy – played by Sean Connery, Roger Moore and recently Daniel Craig – found another nemesis in the watchdogs at the British Board of Film Classification.
According to the newlyreleased documents, the BBFC film snippers demanded dozens of changes be made to some of the classic movies in the franchise.
They turned their noses up at saucy on-screen nudity and banned blood-curdling images of extreme violence.
But here – for the first time ever – we can bring you those axed scenes in all their glory!
One source at Pinewood Studios said: “While some of the films look dated through modern eyes, at the time they raised eyebrows due to saucy sex antics and on-screen fatalities.
“Sometimes directors pushed the envelope a bit too far. And that’s when the BBFC stepped in to shoot them down.”
The new Bond film, called Skyfall with Craig, 43, once again in the MI6 hotseat, hits cinemas in November.
