FA GETTING SHIRTY WITH SCHARNER
WEST BROM ace Paul Scharner is facing an FA rap if he reveals his famous Baggies T-shirt again in Sunday’s Black Country derby against Wolves.
The FA have written to the Austrian international to warn him not to display the shirt, which caused controversy in the Baggies’ win in the first clash between the clubs this season.
Scharner pulled up his top to reveal the homemade T-shirt designed by his sons in the direction of Wolves winger Stephen Hunt, which upset fans.
Wolves boss Mick Mccarthy wasn’t happy, but softened his stance when he found out it only displayed a West Brom logo.
Scharner said: “I had a written warning from the FA over the shirt incident – it would be very risky to do it again!”
