JOBSEEKERS are being offered the chance to run the Queen a BATH.

For £14,200-a-year, the Royal Household wants a housekeeping assistant to put Her Majesty’s plug in and check the water’s temperature.

As well as filling the Royal tub, the new employee must pack and unpack suitcases for the Windsors, iron their clothes and help them get dressed.

They will also look after jewellery and arrange for tea and breakfast trays to be taken to the family members’ rooms.

The job, advertised on the Royal Household website, asks for a candidate “committed to achieving exceptional standards of service provision”.

Although based at Buckingham Palace, the new recruit will also work at other Royal residences such as Balmoral and Sandringham.

In 2003, there was outrage when it was revealed that Prince Charles had a favourite servant who squeezed the toothpaste tube for him before he cleaned his teeth.
