Wood you believe it?

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A “SEXIST” magazine ad featuring three fellas wearing just their pants has been banned for being offensive.

The ad, for photography insurance, featured a topless man wearing a pair of tight blue trunks, another wearing a blue thong with his hips visible, and a third wearing just a skimpy blue posing pouch which covered his genitals but left his hips and part of his pubic region visible.

Under the ad for Aaduki Multimedia Insurance were the words: “Can’t see the wood for the trees.”

Someone complained to watchdogs that it was sexist and degrading to men, and challenged whether it was offensive.

The Advertising Standards Authority investigated and found the advert to be in breach of rules regarding “harm and offence” and ordered it should not be used again.
