STRACQ IN THE GROOVE
EVERTON striker Denis Stracqualursi reckons he is finally showing the Toffees fans what he is all about.
The Argie striker, 24, was snapped up as a desperate last-minute loan signing from FC Tigres in August.
Blues manager David Moyes was struggling for frontmen after he had moved Jermaine Beckford and Yakubu out of Goodison Park.
But after failing to find the net early on, Stracqualursi (above) has whacked in three goals in five games and is starting to love life on Merseyside.
He said: “When I first got here it was difficult to adapt to the different style of football.
“But now I’m getting games and getting time, I am scoring goals and that’s the main thing for a forward.
“I’m very happy with the goals.
“It’s very important for forwards to score goals for confidence.
“The main thing, though, is that we win – it’s a team effort.”
