BIRDSONG star Clemence Poesy is more than happy to strip off for nude scenes.

The French actress, 29, says she likes being in the buff since filming sex scenes with lucky co-star Eddie Redmayne for the BBC’S World War I drama.

But blonde babe Clemence insists she doesn’t want to be known just for her figure.

She said: “It would have been very wrong if there hadn’t been any nudity in Birdsong, because the relationship between my character and Eddie is all about sex.

“If nudity is intrinsic to the part, I have no problem. But I do insist that those scenes aren’t used for publicity purposes.

“Because if you don’t have a clause like that in your contract, if there is a little bit of nipple showing somewhere in the film, it will always be in the trailer because that is what sells.”
