GP’S ‘insane’ sex romp in his surgery
SAVE petrol by pushing your car to your destination. Most of the time,
passers-by will think you’ve broken
down and help. A FAMILY GP was caught red-handed having “insane” sex in his surgery with a receptionist, a tribunal heard.
Dr Huw Evans, 53, was on a couch with the woman when a colleague entered his room unexpectedly, the General Medical Council was told.
The father of three, who is separated from his wife, said in a statement: “I was on duty that day and ended up having sex with one of the staff.
“I don’t know who approached who – it just happened.”
He was described as saying he felt like “kicking himself” not locking the door.
The hearing was told that Dr Evans had treated Miss A as a patient between Dec 2009 and March 2010.
Miss A subsequently became one of the staff at the health centre last year.
The hearing was told Miss A said her relationship with the doctor had developed over several months, “from talking to hugs and sexual relations”.
Dr Evans explained
for that the incident was the first time there had been any sexual relations between the pair.
He added: “I am ashamed and I’m embarrassed that it ever happened.
“It was an insane and entirely consensual act.”
The doctor and the receptionist have been dismissed from the Isle of Wight surgery.
The fitness to practice hearing is expected to conclude next week.
