Nap slap for Blues chances

Midweek Sport - - THURSDAY MARCH 15 - By JON WEST

NAPOLI striker Marek Hamsik has told Chelsea that they’re lucky to have even a slim chance of staying in the Champions League.

The Italians bring a 3-1 first leg lead to Stamford Bridge tonight and are confident of going through.

Slovakia hitman Hamsik reckons the Blues could have faced an even bigger defeat two weeks ago when doomed boss Andre Villas-boas opted to dump Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole on the bench.

He said: “Chelsea were lucky – if you make changes like they did lottery.”

Arsenal almost pulled off a miracle last week when they fell a goal short of over-turning a 4-0 first leg thrashing by AC Milan.

Hamsik added: “If we use the same tactic as Milan it would be a disaster.”
