Tevez has gone from hero to vil­lain and back to hero, af­ter re­turn­ing from his self-im­posed ex­ile to shoot City to­wards a dra­matic ti­tle clash with the Reds.

And Balotelli said: “My point of ref­er­ence is Tevez.

“When I came here, train­ing was about hav­ing a good time.

“In­stead I’m learn­ing from him to al­ways give the max­i­mum ev­ery day.”

And Balotelli is happy to turn down the at­ten­tion from the two gi­ant Mi­lan clubs and pledge his fu­ture to the Blues and Mancini.

Balotelli added: “I don’t have any nostal­gia for Italy. The Premier League is serv­ing me very well.

“Why do peo­ple al­ways talk of In­ter and Mi­lan? I’m at City and I have no in­ten­tion of chang­ing shirts.

“I think only about win­ning the ti­tle be­cause I am sure that United will make mis­takes – cer­tainly in the match against us, and then, who knows?”
