Ambulance man faces boot over ‘boob boast’

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A PARAMEDIC accused of boasting on Facebook about feeling a patient’s breasts faces being struck off if found guilty of the charge.

Mark Small is alleged to have posted a comment on the social networking site, saying: “saved someone’s life today and managed to cop a feel of some cracking jubblies. Excellent shift.”

He will appear at a conduct hearing of the Health Professions Council (HPC) this week and could be struck off if he’s found guilty of misconduct.

The HPC says Mr Small posted the comments on Facebook between June 28 and June 29 last year.

It claims the post constitutes misconduct and casts doubts over his fitness to practise.

Mr Small, who lives in the Bristol area, worked for Great Western Ambulance Service, which provides emergency care and patient transport across Gloucestershire.

A spokesman confirmed Mr Small is still employed by the trust.

He added: “He is still working for us.

“It was dealt with using our internal disciplinary procedures.”

The hearing is set to get under way on Friday and is scheduled to last for a day.
