Bus ban for thigh groper

Midweek Sport - - AGONY SPECIAL -

A 49-YEAR-OLD Luton man has been banned from sitting next to women on buses after a judge described his behaviour to women as “frightening and unpleasant”.

The defendant had earlier admitted nine charges of sexual assault on women travelling on buses between October and November last year.

Judge Richard Foster gave Koomson a two-year community order after hearing that his assaults on women he sat next to on buses involved victims aged between 16 and 60 years.

One of his victims, a 16-year-old girl, was reported as saying to Koomson in a loud voice: “Get your hand off my leg, you paedophile.”

The judge, sitting at Luton Crown Court, also ordered Koomson to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
