ON SALE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY BASEBALL BATTERED
Mum attacks love rival at school gate
A FURIOUS wife took a BASEBALL BAT into the playground to batter a mum she accused of having an affair with her hubby.
Mum-of-six Kelly Mochan went to the school at the end of the day looking for Katie Vincent with a metal bat.
Grandmother Tonia Vincent – who picked up Katie’s children that day – was walloped on the head with the bat during the battle at Pyle Junior School in Pyle, near Bridgend, South Wales.
Prosecutor Mike Hammett said: “She told the gran: ‘I’ll get your f***ing daughter’ while in the car park.
“Mrs Vincent reminded her there were children present and she took a baseball bat from her vehicle, raised it and hit her on the head.
“There was struggle and they both fell to the ground. The grandmother was then taken to hospital with swelling and bleeding from her head.”
Judge David Wynn Morgan warned her at Cardiff Crown Court: “The school gate is not the place for the airing of opinions and grievances about your husband’s extra-marital activities.”
Mochen, 31, who admitted causing actual bodily harm, was sentenced to a 12-month community order.
Katie Vincent, also 31, denies having an affair with Mochan’s husband.
