Crash victim’s 3 days in ditch
A MOTORCYCLIST has been found seriously injured in a roadside ditch almost THREE DAYS after he crashed.
The 40-year-old man, from Goole, East Yorks, spent three nights in the open before he was spotted lying in water by rescuers.
He was is now being treated at Doncaster Royal Infirmary for injuries including broken ribs and hypothermia.
Humberside Police said the man was reported missing by his partner after he failed to turn up for work a day after she last spoke to him.
On Friday, cops found a small amount of debris from a motorbike at the side of the A614, just north of Thorne.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to join the search and the man was found 6ft down a ditch.
