Multi-millions JK: I felt I was on a treadmill

MISERABLE author J.K Rowling has moaned that Harry Potter has made her too…SUCCESSFUL!

The blonde scribe ( above) was a penniless single mum living on benefits before writing the bestselling boy wizard franchise.

She’s now worth a staggering £620million and is among the world’s richest women.

But Rowling, 47, says that being a multimillionaire literary giant with fans all over the world can be a real pain in the arse.

She groaned: “For a few years I did feel I was on a psychic treadmill, trying to keep up with where I was.

“Everything changed so rapidly, so strangely. I didn’t know anyone to whom I could turn and say, ‘What do you do?’

“It was incredibly disorientating.

“You don’t expect the pressure of it. I was hit by a tsunami of demands. I felt totally overwhelmed.”

Rowling’s new ‘adult’ book, ‘The Casual Vacancy’, is out this week.
