Police appeal to victims of crafty bugger
COPS are appealing to gay men who may have been duped out of cash by a conman to get in touch with them.
A year after Mark Bishop was jailed for swindling men out of more than £250,000 cops say they are convinced there are other victims who have not come forward.
Bishop ( above), 38, posed as an Old Etonian who stood to inherit a mansion.
After getting to know his gay victims, he’d spin hard luck stories, borrow money – then vanish.
Bishop embarked on a decade of crime using a string of identities to prey on people via gay dating website Gaydar.
His activities caught up with him when police tracked him down, and he was jailed for four years.
But PC Anita Collins – who led the hunt – said the full extent of his crimes was still not known.
She said: “Maybe it is because people feel foolish for having fallen for his deceptions, but there is no need be. He was simply very good at what he did.” THESE telly babes have got plenty to show off up top!
Actresses Maxine Peake and Zoe Telford both star in Room At The Top, a BBC4 drama based on the John Braine novel about a working class Yorkshire lad who becomes a legendary swordsman at his local amateur dramatics group.
Maxine, 38, plays unhappily married Alice Aisgil who has a sizzling affair with bed-hopping Joe Lampton, played by Matthew McNulty.
Sadly, fans don’t get a chance to see her boobs in the two-part drama this Wednesday and Thursday.
But thankfully we have these snaps from when she played topless
