Brits take to the internet in anger over Sir Jimmy Savile sex claims

FURIOUS Brits have taken to the internet to hit out at the late Sir Jimmy Savile as claims he abused youngsters gather pace.

Angry former fans who idolised the Jim’ll Fix It star – who died last year aged 84 – turned on him with a vengeance.

They were left stunned and appalled as more victims came forward saying Savile had molested them as children, including brave Bebe Roberts, now 62, who says she was just 15 when he sneaked into her dormitory at her girls’ boarding school and assaulted her.

And the online world showed its hatred of the former DJ and Top of the Pops host.

On the Daily Mail Online ‘Bobby Gillespie’ said: “Dig him up and hang him!”

And on Facebook ‘ Chris Brindle’ wrote: “Shall we dig his body out of the ground and burn it on Bonfire Night.”

People also took over the Facebook group RIP Jimmy Savile, you entertained so many of us, set up for people to share fond memories of their time on his lap, to attack him.

‘Andrew Walker’ raged: “Dig him up and remove him NOW! Scarborough doesn’t need dead nonces.”

‘Aarone’, from Leeds, said: “He was like one of your uncles that when you were a kid you just knew you had to steer clear of him. Urrrgh creepy old peado scum”

‘Paul Austin’ wrote: “Sick bastard, rot in hell u c**t!!”

And ‘Mr Pome’ said: “Lets hope the maggots get to you now Sir Jimmy.”

Some, however, stuck up for the star, accused alleged victims of ‘making up’ the claims and called the press ‘scum’ for printing them.

CEMETERY bosses last night beefed up security at Sir Jimmy’s grave amid fears it will be the target of attacks.

The £4,000, 6ft-wide, 4ft-high stone, at Woodlands Cemetery in Scarborough, North Yorks, features pictures of the DJ alongside the phrase “It was good while it lasted”.
