Hunters gun down cannabis grower, 60

Midweek Sport - - FRONT PAGE -

SWISS hunters shot and critically injured a 60-year-old man – after mistaking him for a WILD BOAR.

Fabien Souplet was harvesting CANNABIS from plants he was illegally growing in the middle of a corn field when he was gunned down.

Twelve hunters were beating in the field to drive the wild boar in front of them – and one opened fire when he spotted what he thought was a wild pig running away.

But it turned out to be the 60-year-old, who was clutching a black bin liner filled with cannabis from his secret stash.

He was airlifted to hospital in Lausanne and is in a critical condition.

Swiss cops are using helicopters to find illegal cannabis plantations being grown in the middle of other crops.

WHAT do you call a dog with no back legs and metal balls? Sparky.
