Drug dealer’s window pain
A DRUG dealer who staged a spectacular escape bid from a Crown Court had his dash for freedom shattered.
George Qatramiz, 28, leapt from the dock then ran through the building in a search for the exit.
But the fugitive’s bid for freedom came to end when he tried to jump through the window of a courtroom door.
He was dragged back by security staff after not realising there were two unlocked doors on either side of him.
Qatramiz, from Piddinghoe, near Newhaven, received an additional six-month jail sentence at Guildford Crown Court.
He pleaded guilty to escaping from lawful custody, criminal damage and assault by beating. He also admitted two offences of threatening behaviour.
