Short shorts ‘flasher’ banned

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A FITNESS fan has been banned from a sports centre until he starts wearing LONGER shorts.

Mike Paley has been ordered to cover up after his short shorts upset people at the Millom Recreation Centre near Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Staff there are now denying Mr Paley entry to the building unless he wears “more appropriate” clothing.

Councillor Brian Crawford, one of the centre’s four directors, said they had received complaints from centre users that Mr Paley, of Millom, had been inadvertently “exposing” himself while training.

He said: “I wrote to him asking if he could wear more appropriate, longer shorts, otherwise we would have to refuse him admittance.” APPARENTLY, a new research study says sitting around for long periods doing nothing can seriously damage your health. No kidding! Only someone who’s been living in a cave in a remote part of the world for the last 10 years would be unaware of society’s big push to do more exercise to fight the flab.

Mind you, there are times when lying down is really good for you – especially if you’ve got a fit hunk exercising on top of you!
