Doc ‘groped teenagers’ at bonfire party

-

A DOCTOR groped two teenage girls at a firework display, a court heard.

Anaesthetist Niaz Ahmed is said to have targeted the youngsters while he was working at a medical tent at a bonfire event in South Tyneside on Nov 5 last year.

Newcastle Crown Court heard the 53-year-old told the girls: “If you are looking for sex you have come to the right person”, and asked them if they would strip for him over Skype.

It is claimed he had told the girls and their friends his sex life with his wife was poor, that he was able to satisfy a woman, boasted about the size of his manhood and made thrusting movements with his pelvis.

It is claimed the doctor also simulated sex and rubbed himself against one teen girl and touched the upper legs of another.

Prosecutor Michael Hodson told the court: “The two girls said they entered into banter but the conversation got out of hand.

“The man had said despite his age he was very good sexually and could satisfy a woman as he had a large penis.”

Ahmed, of Cleadon, denies one charge of sexual assault and one of sexual activity with a child.

The trial continues.
