RED-HOT POD VOWS TO CLOUT KRAUTS AGAIN

ARSENAL striker Lukas Podolski is confident of extending his hot scoring record against Schalke.
The Germany international is looking to shoot down his fellow countrymen in their Champions League clash at the Emirates.
And Schalke have every reason to fear Podolski as he was a regular scorer against them while at Cologne.
“I have a good history with them. In each of the past two or three games I played against them I have scored, so I quite like playing against them,” said Podolski.
“Hopefully I can do it again in the Champions League.”
Schalke are third in the Bundesliga – where they finished last season – and beat champs Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
The Gunners flopped at Norwich that day and Podolski warned they must be much better.
He said: “Schalke are a very strong team, the strongest we will face in the group stage.
“If we can win this game we will be very well-placed.
“They will be tough to beat, but we must go for the three points.”
Defender Andre Santos is confident the Gunners will do well in Europe.
“The earlier we qualify in the group stage, the better – and this will boost our confidence for the knockout stages,” said Santos
