THE BBC were accused of a massive spy-style cover-up last night as viewers demanded answers to the mystery of Melissa George’s MISSING BOOBS!
Mouth-watering Melissa, 36, is currently starring as a private sector spook in the Beeb’s glossy drama series, Hunted.
But Midweek Sport can reveal that a racy scene from the first episode of the eight-parter – in which Melissa is seen NAKED with her delightful BOOBS on show – was controversially AXED in the UK.
The Aussie temptress plays Samantha Hunter, an espionage operative for a shady private intelligence agency called Byzantium.
In the American cut of the first episode, it opens with her opening a door to a man while she is dressed in only a red slip – which she drops to the floor.
The footage – freely available online – shows Melissa turn to the side, revealing her pert boobs and knickerless bottom.
But when BBC1 aired the episode on October 4, the sexy scene was cut.
One angry licence payer said: “I can’t help but wonder why the scene was cut from the BBC version.
“It was aired after the 9pm watershed so they have no excuse. Why should the Yanks get to see her lovely boobs – it’s a BBC programme for God’s sake.” WE all pay for the BBC through the licence fee.
But apparently someone somewhere at the corporation has decided the sight of a NAKED Melissa George – after the kids have gone to bed – is too much for British eyes. WHO told them they could do that? Why should Americans get to see what WE paid for?
