Happy Brits? We’re all talk
CHATTERING Brits are more cheerful now than they were last year, according to a new study of our online comments.
Analysis of social media conversations found the number of people expressing their happiness in life has gone up by eight per cent.
At the same time, talk of our stress levels had decreased by a huge 33 per cent when compared to 2011.
The Queen’s diamond jubilee celebrations gave us a morale boost, and the Olympics at least increased of going to the gym by 19 per cent.
Meanwhile, we are also more happy in our jobs as the study showed a 12 per cent rise in social media posts expressing contentment at work.
The study, by business information group Precise, suggests Brits believe the economy is improving.
