CATWALK CALLS FOR CABAYE
MODEL professional Yohan Cabaye is the “man-crush” of the Toon dressing room.
Cabaye’s Gallic good looks quickly earned the France midfielder his “dreamboat” tag from his team-mates.
The chiseled 26-yearold (right) is a big favourite with female fans, and is also a big hit with his Toon pals, especially when he turns up to training dressed like he’s just stepped off he catwalk.
Rob Elliot reckons a side career in male modelling beckons, and Newcastle’s reserve keeper revealed: “I sit in between Yohan and Romain Amalfitano in the dressing room. Yohan always comes in either in a tracksuit or dressed as the GQ man of the month.
“He’s the man-crush of Newcastle, isn’t he? Is it tough sitting next to such a good looking man? I don’t know, you’ll have to ask him!”
Cabaye, a £4.5million capture from Lille last year, has helped Alan Pardew’s side into the top half of the Premier League.
The Magpies are also close to qualifying for the knock-out stages of the Europa League thanks defenders like James Perch.
He insisted: “There’s a strength in depth here. We’ve surprised a few people by how much strength we’ve got in the first team.”
