Staff fury at Beeb’s crap food
BBC staff have blasted bosses over crap food, crowded lifts and narrow stairs at Auntie’s new £1BILLION London nerve centre.
Workers at New Broadcasting House in London’s West End have sent a string of complaints to chiefs claiming the ‘flash new HQ’ is ‘rubbish’.
Emails leaked this week show workers moaning that they have to queue for up to 20 minutes to get served at the canteen.
And they claim the food includes ‘rock-hard baked potatoes’, ‘bad tuna’ and ‘cold chips’.
Pissed-off staff also say they are forced to wait up to eight minutes for the lift.
And they revealed that narrow staircases, make it ‘impossible’ for two people to walk up side-by-side
Among those on the warpath is BBC London’s travel presenter Louise Pepper (above).
She said: “I wonder who on earth designed the News Café in New Broadcasting House.”
Thousands of Beeb staff moved to the new HQ last year.
