Nurse ‘had sex sessions with former patient’
A NURSE allegedly bedded one of his patients after having thoughts about her.
Paul Robinson confessed to having ‘impure’ thoughts about the woman as she was being discharged from his care, a hearing was told.
It’s claimed he slept with her twice after bombarding her with text messages and phone calls.
Robinson is accused of pursuing the female patient – who cannot be named for legal reasons – from after she was discharged from the crisis team where he worked.
A hearing held by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) was told that Robinson contacted the woman and subsequently met up with her for the sole purpose of seducing her.
Miranda Stokesbury, for the NMC, said: “Once she had been discharged the contact between him and the patient should have ceased”.”
Robinson admitted he and his former patient met for illicit dates at Costa Coffee in Eastleigh town centre in Hampshire.
But he denies having sex with the patient.
The hearing continues.
