Sorry Stu on a double downer
ENGLAND captain Stuart Broad blamed himself TWICE after his team’s 55-run defeat against New Zealand.
Brendon McCullum was the match-winner as the hosts levelled the Twenty20 series with one to play, hitting 74 from just 38 balls in New Zealand’s 192 for six.
Jos Buttler smashed 54 from only 28 balls but England tumbled to 137 all out in reply.
Broad, who had bowling figures of none for 53, admitted his performance with the ball was not up to scratch and that he regretted his decision to put New Zealand in.
“I made the wrong decision at the toss and we need to get back on track,” said Broad.
