IF you’re struggling to shift the lard your best bet is to...CHEAT on your partner.

Dating website UndercoverLovers.com has revealed that being unfaithful can be one of the most effective ways to lose weight.

In a survey of 3,000 of its adulterous members they asked whether any had lost weight since having an affair and if so how many pounds they’d shed.

More than half of all respondents said they’d lost some blubber after doing the dirty on their partner – like Kat Moon ( above) in Beeb soap EastEnders.

Philandering men lost an average of 6lbs while the women claim to have lost 10lbs on average.

The website’s spokesperson and adultery expert Emily Pope said: “Our study proves that there can be positive outcomes to having an affair.”
