New Pink pill is killer, say police
CLUBBERS have been warned to avoid a party drug called “Pink Love”.
Police have issued the warning over the heart-shaped drug which has left five dead and up to a dozen in hospital.
The killer batch of ecstasy has been linked to deaths in Liverpool, Manchester and most recently North Wales.
Acting chief inspector Simon Barrasford of North Wales Police said partygoers were taking their lives into their hands by taking the pink pills.
He said: “I want to make it very clear that taking these tablets can be fatal.”
The drug, also known as Dr Death, is sold to clubbers for as little as £3 a dose.
Dealers sell it as ecstasy but it is actually PMA – a powerful stimulant that is around five times as strong.
