Chippy fans hot for curry sauce

CURRY sauce is now the nation’s number one chip topping – overtaking tomato ketchup.

The new research showed one in five of us prefer to eat chips with curry sauce, with slightly less choosing cheese.

And size does matter for the majority of Brits – as 57 per cent voted for ‘fat and chunky’ chips, instead of long and thin, curly, crinkled or wedged.

The largest-ever survey of chip-eating habits was conducted by takeaway service, Just Eat.

A staggering 6,670 adults in the UK were quizzed for National Chip Week, which kicked off on Monday.

Just 16 per cent of us use a plate, knife and fork while two thirds of us dive straight in to the bag of chips. One in four keep it old school and use a wooden chip fork.

But in 2011 Tuppence filmed some incredible TOPLESS scenes for the movie Cleanskin, starring Sean Bean.

The Bristol-born babe played a terrorist’s love interest in the film, which went on general release last March.

One production insider said: “There was a sex scene and Tuppence was filmed riding up and down on top of a fella.

“Some actresses might be quite intimidated but Tuppence was the very epitome of total professionalism and threw herself into the role. “It’s just a pity we didn’t get to see her tuppence!”
