Student guilty of upskirt movies
A STUDENT who filmed up-skirt shots of girls in a shopping centre has appeared in court.
Scott Dixon, 24, made more than 50 secret films on his phone in Eldon Square, Newcastle, until he was caught in August last year.
The architecture student was nabbed when a female shopper caught him filming up another unsuspecting lady’s skirt in Topshop.
She reported him to police who cornered him outside the store and found 25 movies on the mobile.
Dixon, of Jarrow, South Tyneside, pleaded guilty at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court to six counts of outraging public decency involving seven female victims.
During interview, Dixon admitted taking videos for his own sexual gratification.
Magistrates adjourned the case until next month for the preparation of pre-sentence reports.
Dixon was released on unconditional bail until that time.
