Saucy charge man off hook
A MAN accused of causing fear and alarm by spraying tomato sauce around a kitchen was cleared of the charge.
Jamie Green, 29, walked free from Perth Sheriff Court when none of the witnesses turned up to give evidence against him.
Green was alleged to have behaved “in a manner likely to cause fear and alarm to a reasonable person” at a house in Perth.
He was alleged to have “shouted and sworn, sprayed tomato sauce over the kitchen worktops and walls, knocked over and broken ornaments, and thrown a bucket of water and bleach over worktops and a freezer”.
Green was also cleared of assaulting Heather Hunter on consecutive days by slapping her on the head, pulling her hair, punching her on the body, pushing her and grabbing her by the neck.
