Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

ON Saturday I had the chance to go to Glastonbury to see the Rolling Stones but it was such a lovely day I decided to throw a BBQ for all my friends instead and watch them on the telly.

I was a bit gutted to miss out on seeing the legendary rockers but it was such a gorgeous day I couldn’t face spending most of it in the car getting down there and back – there was no way I was going to camp. I don’t do camping!

So I decided to throw a party and invited all the girls round.

We had a right laugh and it was a fabulous day – we all got really drunk on Sangria and watched Glasto on the big flat-screen TV.

It was great to see the Stones rocking the festival – they still know how to give a great performance.

I can’t believe that they’ve been together for more than 50 years.

It looked like a fantastic atmosphere and part of me did wish I was there.

Still, my BBQ was a great success and everyone had a wicked time, though as always there was a bit of drama when I nearly sliced my finger off!

I WILL be Redlight on Saturday Central this Sunday 6th July and

7th July so sure you make special tune in for

a weekend whammy double

! weekend Dedicate

your I was pouring myself a glass to Linsey of Sangria from a glass jug when and don’t

McKenzie Dawn I dropped it and it smashed. in Sky

out! Tune miss For some reason I put my hand

913 channel out to catch it – out of instinct – and 10pm

from to 5.30am. caught my finger on a piece of jagged glass.

I don’t know if it went through a vein but it was absolutely pouring with blood.

Luckily my sister-in-law is a nurse so she sorted it out for me. But she i heavily pregnant and about to give birth any day and I was worried in case all the drama would send her into labour.

I had visions of her giving birth on my patio while I was dripping blood everywhere!
