Kev lines up a Premier ending
VETERAN striker Kevin Phillips hopes to finalise a deal to end his career at Crystal Palace in the Premier League this week.
The former England international, who turns 40 this month, had been tempted by more game time in the Championship.
But after scoring the play-off goal to fire Palace into the top-flight last season, Phillips is set to stay at Selhurst Park and sign a one-year extension.
He said: “I’ve just come back from Vegas and I’m hopefully going to secure my future at Palace some time this week.
“There have been rumours of tempting offers, but I turn 40 soon and I want to play in the Premier League.”
