NEWLY promoted Bournemouth have landed a dream pre-season friendly with Real Madrid – but have angered loyal fans by charging them SIXTY QUID to see the game!

The Cherries, who finished second in League One last season, welcome Carlo Ancelotti and his Madrid megastars to Dean Court on July 21. Chairman Eddie Mitchell beamed: “Real Madrid are at the pinnacle of global sport and to host them will be an honour.

“We see the fixture as a well-earned gift to our fans for their unwavering dedication to AFC Bournemouth.”

But Mitchell’s “gift” is an outrageously expensive one, with adult tickets on sale for £60 and under-16s having to shell out £30, while season ticket holders will get a measly £5 discount.
