Andy’s my kind of man … loads of stamina!

-

I AM over the moon that Andy Murray won Wimbledon.

It was a great game and I was totally glued to it the whole way through.

I was in a hotel room and was going to go out shopping but I was just totally gripped by the whole occasion.

Imagine that – it must have been truly historic to come between me and shopping!

He played really well and he totally deserved to win.

Before the match I wasn’t sure, but he seemed to have a lot of hidden stamina. I like that in a man, as you might guess!

It seems to me that he is even better than people gave him credit for.

He has obviously spent the past year training really hard and now it has paid off big style.

At one point in the match I must admit I did think that Novak Djokovic was going to get back into it – I daresay many of us thought the same – but thankfully we were wrong.

Seeing him win has really lifted the nation and it is fantastic for the whole of Great Britain.

There was such a great atmosphere at the final – it would have been amazing to have actually been there – but even just watching it on the telly I could really feel the sense of the occasion.

Now to the important stuff – I thought the dress his girlfriend Kim Sears was wearing was really nice but my God, she must have been boiling! I mean, it even had long sleeves! I know it was designed by Victoria Beckham and she wanted to look her best but she must have been totally roasting.

Meanwhile Victoria, over in the Royal Box, looked like she’d forgotten to put her clothes on at all – the poor girl looked like she had gone out in her nightie.

I think black silk negligees look really sexy but even I thought it was a bit risqué for Wimbledon where there are loads of posh people about.

And they’d have had high enough blood pressure watching the match as it was!
