Reds coach goes Green

JONATHAN GREEN­ING has be­come the lat­est ex-Man United player to start a coach­ing ca­reer.

The 1999 Cham­pi­ons League win­ner, 34, has agreed to help out with Not­ting­ham For­est’s Un­der-21 side whilst still play­ing for the Reds.

He said: “I’m re­ally look­ing for­ward to it. I def­i­nitely want to stay in football when my play­ing ca­reer ends and, thanks to boss Billy Davies, I’ve got a great chance to learn.

“But I still feel like I’ve got a lot to of­fer as a player. I feel re­ally fit at the mo­ment. I’m get­ting a good pre-sea­son un­der my belt and I feel strong.”
