Pub passed Test with 15K pints
A PUB sold as much beer during the first Ashes test match as it would for the WHOLE of December.
The Larwood and Voce, next to Trent Bridge, was sold out for breakfast and lunch every day as well as getting through 15,000 pints during five days.
Dan Cramp, manager at the pub in Notts, said: “It was massive. We couldn’t have wished for a better time. It was all hands on deck.
“We had a delivery of 170 barrels at the start of the week and we doubled up all orders of wines and spirits.
“We sold 8,000 pints of real ale alone. We all loved working, it was a great atmosphere.”
