Law could be Taff to take for drivers
TEENAGERS in Wales could be banned from driving at night in a bid to cut accidents involving young motorists.
Newly-qualified drivers may be barred from driving after dark by a new “Cinderella Law”.
Young drivers would also have a limit put on how many passengers they can carry – and have their drink-drive limit reduced to zero.
The plans are part of a public health scheme to try and cut child deaths on the road in Wales.
Dr Sarah Jones, a consultant in health protection for Public Health Wales, said: “The number of deaths among teenagers in cars is of great concern to us.”
