Cash and grab perv says crash to blame
A PERV who groped a woman at a cash machine blamed it on a car crash he had 30 years ago when he went off a CLIFF.
Martin Peacock, 49, was stood behind her at the dispenser when he stroked her bum and then smirked when she confronted him.
But Magistrates in Llanelli heard his actions could be partly put down to an accident on Gran Canaria.
Linda Sherwood, defending, said: “In 1987 he had a serious accident which left him with damage to the frontal lobe of his brain, after which has caused him to behave in the way he has.”
Peacock, of Llanelli, South Wales, pleaded guilty to sexual assault.
He admitted the touching to police and said he had found the woman attractive and that it was sexually motivated.
The offence was in breach of a sexual offences prevention order placed on him in March 2009.
Peacock was given a two-year community order to include supervision and a course to help him avoid offending again.
He was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for five years.
