O.J. facing blow in TV Anger plan
FALLEN Yank fooball star and actor O.J. Simpson’s hopes of starring in Hollywood hellraiser Charlie Sheen’s sitcom once he’s out of prison have suffered a knockback.
Disgraced Simpson, ( above), 66, is due to be released early from his 33-year sentence in Nevada for armed robbery and is keen to win a role in rib-tickler Anger Management.
‘The Juice’s’ manager, Norman Pardo, was said to have had talks with high-level telly execs.
In the show, Sheen plays Charlie Goodson – a former minor league baseball player who conquered his own anger issues to become a successful therapist, and who conducts anger management sessions with an inmate group in prison.
But last night reps for bosses at Anger Management and producers Lionsgate said there was no truth to the report, while execs at FX said: “It will never happen.”
