URBAN WEATHER STATION – £139 IT would take a lot to convince me to fork out this much money on a weather station.

The first thing you notice is how small these things are. How can so much weather-reading potential be contained in such a small shell?

That said, I am a testament to good things coming in small packages (not a reference to my penis!). It’s not the size of something that matters but how well it works (once again, not my todger!).

The Urban Weather Station is made up of two aluminium cylinders. The bigger one gets to stay inside and hang out with you while the smaller one is banished to the cold wastelands outside – blatant heightism!

They communicate with each other over WiFi and then send their data to your tablet or mobile.

It’s important to note straight away that these will ONLY work with Apple products.

What’s really cool is the amount of info you receive. But there are a couple of niggles. The main one is the outdoor sensor has to be protected from elements. The other is the price. It is still a fantastic product, though.

Easy to set up, easy to use and rich in information – three very big factors which make this weather info guru great.
