Women were filmed dur­ing ex­am­i­na­tions by sneak doc

A DOC­TOR has ad­mit­ted se­cretly film­ing women pa­tients dur­ing med­i­cal ex­am­i­na­tions.

Dr Suhail Ahmed, 27, owned up to tak­ing sneaky pics and video of at least eight women – some of whom have yet to be iden­ti­fied – while he was work­ing at a hos­pi­tal last year.

Ahmed pleaded guilty to 11 counts of voyeurism and de­nied one sim­i­lar of­fence when he ap­peared at Ex­eter Crown Court.

All the charges al­lege that he recorded pri­vate acts with­out the con­sent of the women for his sex­ual grat­i­fi­ca­tion.

The charges he ad­mit­ted al­lege that he filmed six named and two un­named women be­tween March and June 2012 at Devon’s Tor­bay Hos­pi­tal.

He also ad­mit­ted record­ing the pri­vate acts of uniden­ti­fied women for his per­sonal grat­i­fi­ca­tion be­tween 2007 and June 2012.

He de­nied two counts of sex­ual as­sault by touch­ing, which are al­leged to have been shown on the se­cretly filmed footage. The judge ad­journed the trial for four weeks as th­ese cases are con­sid­ered.

Ahmed, of Cardiff, – cur­rently sus­pended from prac­tice – was re­quired to sign on the sex of­fender’s reg­is­ter be­fore leav­ing court and is bailed till Septem­ber.
