TIGERS DON’T SCARE BRUCE
HULL boss Steve Bruce is not fazed by the decision to rebrand the club as the Hull City Tigers.
Owner Assem Allam caused a stir last week when it was revealed he had dropped the “AFC” from the club’s official name after 109 years and would be focusing on marketing the team as the Tigers.
But Bruce sees it as nothing more than a storm in a teacup.
He said: “It’s a couple of words, it doesn’t really make a difference for me.
“The furore will die down a bit. It’s up to the owner to say what he thinks.”
