GLASGOW Rangers star Ian Black is being investigated over claims he bet against his own club to LOSE – and he could face a £1million fine and a lifetime ban from football.
The midfielder is also accused of betting on 10 more games involving his teams and nearly 150 other wagers.
Players registered in Scotland are BANNED from betting on any football match.
Black is accused by the Scottish Football Association of putting cash on his own team not to win games on three occasions between March 4, 2006 and July 28, 2013.
The Ibrox club has launched its own probe and Black, 28, has until next Monday to respond.
He is also due to face an SFA disciplinary hearing at Hampden Park on September 12.
